Logistics Executive

Job Location : Nigeria / Africa

  • Collection of material from various growers, checking quantity at source.
  • Transportation of Paddy to the factory.
  • Transportation of other materials including packing materials to the factory.
  • Moving finished material from the factory to the destination includes both rice as well as bran and germ.
  • Meeting with various transport contractors and contracting to ensure that trucks are available at all times on short notice.
  • Ensuring timely deliveries of all materials.
  • Meeting and contracting with the fuel suppliers in Nigeria to ensure that there is enough diesel for the Gen sets.
  • Ensure arrangements are made with more than one fuel supplier.
  • Mechanical knowledge is not essential, though it will be an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as logistics coordinator / executive
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Graduate in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
